It’s back, and it’s no longer under embargo – check out part one of the climate change movie for the Met Office. More updates soon!
I’m based in Bristol, UK. You can call me on +44 (0)7881 752 994 or send me an email.
I have 10 years' industry experience. I can take on a project for you single-handed, or slot in to your existing team. I'm good like that...
From massiveattack.ie: “An excellent portfolio site of Massive Attack producer Neil Davidge. The site chronicles his work with the band … and side-projects he has undertaken since the mid-’90s. Importantly, the site also features some otherwise hard-to-find tracks that Neil [has] undertaken … for the likes of Jaguar and Smirnoff.”
plus:
Mustard Jobs
Website for a Bristol-based recruitment company who liked the Neil Davidge look.
From the Guardian blog: “When Gordon Brown announced that he’d be attending Copenhagen ... more than a little credit belonged to Greenpeace and BeThatChange.”
Made up of creatives from the design industry, BeThatChange is a campaign group whose focus is poverty and the environment. I created the website’s distinctive look and feel, reinforcing Mike Cannings’ logo (and later, his illustrations) to develop an online presence that’s engaging, informative and constantly evolving.
Musician, songwriter, band leader. Newly revamped, work in progress, lots more to come (including, one of these days, ‘Heather Hoyle, The Movie’).
The Canvas Room is a London-based music publishing and production company. It was founded by singer/songwriter and producer Gary Go, who approached me to create him this classy website.
Wheathill is a small but perfectly formed music and entertainment agency, with a really rather lovely website.
A website to reflect the meteoric rise of Sam Lacey’s design agency, Gravity. Working from the foundations of the emerging brand, I designed these funky yet adaptable layouts and went on to build them in accessible, search engine-friendly html.
plus:
Characters
A site I designed and built at Gravity for copywriting company, Characters.
A belter of a website for design agency Duttons. Working closely with Creative Director Steve Davies and benefitting from the team’s vast collection of top quality illustrations, I was briefed to create a site that would entice new clients, reassure existing ones, attract up-and-coming bright young things and put the fear of God into their competitors.
A triumphant revamp of the well-known Bristol design agency’s web presence. I took great pride in designing and building this portfolio of diverse work.
A Flash microsite promoting Dell’s Latitude range of laptops. Part of a highly successful integrated print and banner campaign.
How do you make 147 words about International Portfolio Bonds seem interesting? Why, you animate them. And how do you make it cheap, and quick, and gorgeous? Use Flash, of course. Duh.
A great animation communicating the virtues of Hewlett-Packard’s digital print process. (Or, a Flash victory grasped from the jaws of a drab Powerpoint presentation.) Mike Cannings illustrated the characters, I art directed, animated and did most other things, including the Final Cut Pro edited highlights you see here.
I took great pleasure cutting together this unrelenting barrage of Proctors’ finest motion graphics offerings. Much of which I did in the first place, come to think of it. Music by Heather Hoyle.
This animation was created at Robson Dowry, as part of the process to consolidate its coveted place on the Met Office design roster. The piece showcases the Met Office's consultancy services, illustrating how this household name is an expert on more than just weather – it's an authority on climate change, too.
Agency:
Robson Dowry
Music:
Heather Hoyle
Embargo
An animation about a high-profile issue for a household name.
Sadly, not one that I can shout about too loudly.
